James is the head of our employment and dispute resolution
department and the firm’s youngest partner. He prides
himself on his ability to achieve his clients’ goals
efficiently and delivers honest and practical advice in an
understandable and jargon free way.
James acts for a wide spectrum of commercial and private
clients and has a particular interest in employment and discrimination
issues. He has a track record of winning compensation awards
for his clients that far exceeds the national average. He
also specialises in land based disputes.
James is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and
has a master in Law and Employment Relations with distinction.
He advises employers of all sizes in different sectors on
employment and HR issues and has a flair for finding pragmatic
solutions to tricky problems.
In the endless pursuit of an effective work and home-life
balance, James enjoys spending time with his family, reading,
writing and occasionally upsetting his neighbours with his
guitar.
