Licensing
Since the introduction in 2005 of the new Licensing Act,
all premises where alcohol is supplied, entertainment is provided
or hot food is sold after 11pm, must obtain a premises licence.
The new act is primarily centred on public order and the
prevention of crime. Private individuals, local businesses
and local authorities now have the right to object to a premises
licence, which could lead to your licence not being granted,
or an existing license being revoked. |
