Richard has been a solicitor in Lincoln now for 35 years.
He specializes in financial issues following divorce or separation
and personal injury claims. He is also the McKinnells’
managing partner, which as the firm grows takes ever more
of his time.
He is absolutely committed to ensuring that everyone at McKinnells
provides the highest standard of advice and service to all
clients. McKinnells is not and never will be the largest local
law firm, but he believes that is no reason not to be the
best.
Despite so many years in practice, Richard still gets a real
buzz about coming in to work, partly because he believes his
work can make a real difference for clients when they are
facing difficulties and partly because of the pleasure of
working with so many bright, hardworking and dedicated colleagues
in McKinnells.
In his spare time Richard enjoys gardening at home and on
his organic allotment, cooking, wine tasting, most sports
but particularly cricket, reading (trash or classics –
he doesn’t discriminate) and walking, especially in
the Yorkshire Dales.
