Val has been specialising in family law for the past 15 years
and joined McKinnells in 2005 as part of the team that moved
across from Page Nelson. She is an accredited specialist with
Resolution under the categories of Advanced Financial Provision,
Private Children Care and Domestic Violence and is a member
of Law Society Children Panel. She has the credentials and
experience to be able to offer the best possible advice to
anyone with domestic issues.
Val now specialises in financial matters following relationship
and marriage breakdown, always endeavouring to deal with disputes
in a conciliatory way, so as to avoid unnecessary conflict,
and costs, between the parties. She is also available to offer
help and advice for anyone wishing to take out a pre-nuptial
agreement following the Supreme Court ruling that they are
now legally binding.
In her spare time she likes gardening, cinema, dog and hill
walking and modern fiction. One of Val’s ambitions is
to visit every country in the world, once she has a few spare
days!
